MODULE ONE – Hybrid Essentials (90 mins virtual delivery)

The opportunity has been created to reset working practices, and create a new more productive and engaged workforce.

But how does this new optimised hybrid team operate? What structures and routines do you need to create to ensure high productivity? How do you combat the ‘out of sight, out of mind’ mentality? How do you maintain motivation and engagement? How do you get hybrid working to outperform the in-office model?

We cover the essentials you need to consider, and start you team planning their ideal working models based on their actual experiences and best practice.

MODULE TWO – Communication Pulse (90 mins)

Communication is a core component of any business and without it, the tasks and procedures to allow the business to run efficiently would not occur. Communication concerns continually rise to the top when it comes to discussions about the challenges faced by remote teams.

Effective communication needs a strategy to ensure you have clear rules, rhythms and routines so everyone feels consistently involved and engaged regardless of their location.

  • What is different about communication in a hybrid working model?
  • Aligning the team and gaining buy-in and ownership
  • Virtual communication best practice: Communications Framework, Clarity, Parity, Fun and Experimentation
  • Work through real life scenarios from the group

MODULE THREE – Running Effective Meetings and Virtual Collaboration (2 hours)

Are you experiencing death by meetings, where nothing ever seems to get done because you are always in meetings? A recent HBR interview also found “30% to 50% of the hours we spend in meetings aren’t productive”. This session provides a framework to reverse that trend, so the meetings we need actually drive results.

Virtually collaborating and creating ideas is not the same as being in the room with others. Its harder to pick up on the visual signals that we all give off, and conversations need to be more structured with one person talking at a time, meaning ideas can get stuck or not flow as easily.

There are techniques to overcome these issues to develop a practical approach that captures the energy typically wasted in a traditional brainstorming session and steers it in a more productive direction.

MODULE FOUR – Manager as a Coach (3 hours)

Your primary role as a manager is to support and develop your employees. People react differently to the new ways of working. Some may love the flexibility offered, others may be close to burnout and/or feel isolated.

Now more than ever, coaching is a key skill to develop. It provides fresh perspectives on personal challenges and enhanced decision-making skills to energising the team and creating a unified agenda for change

  • What is coaching, and what it’s not
  • Deeper Listening
  • Ask don’t tell
  • Language- the use of metaphors
  • GROW model

    MODULE FIVE – Crucial Conversations (3 hours)

    We all have to have crucial conversations at some point in our careers, whether it’s providing feedback on poor performance, telling a team member they aren’t getting a pay rise or a promotion, or managing inappropriate behaviour.

    Whilst tough conversations at work are inevitable and happen regularly, no-one relishes the thought of having to deal with them, and now the challenge is you may not usually be in the same room as that person. As a manager, it’s a crucial part of the job and something that helps both us and our teams to develop and grow.

    And don’t forget that feedback can also be positive and motivational when the opportunity arises.

    Key topics are:

    • How to create a feedback culture where teams feel safe to give each other frequent feedback
    • The key challenges to having difficult conversations
    • The principles of Radical Candour Ⓡ
    • Perceptual Positioning
    • Framework for handling difficult conversations remotely, and in-person

    MODULE SIX – Culture and Vision (3 hours)

    The culture of an organisation is the common identity that reflects shared values and beliefs. Company culture is important in any work environment, but when employees are working in remote and hybrid teams, establishing a strong and intentional company culture is crucial.

    But you can’t simply copy-paste in-office culture into a hybrid environment. We work with you and your teams what the new culture and vision should be.

    • Developing the long term company Vision & Values
    • Key cultural elements in a hybrid organisation
    • Introduction to Agile
    • Agile Empowerment Techniques
    • Activities to help strengthen the culture in the hybrid working structure


    A programme will typically be run with teams in groups of up to 20, over two months, delivered through 90 minute to 3 hour (module dependent) interactive Zoom workshops with follow-up team coaching as required.
